im so so sorry ive been gone. again. but i have some big news. ive started another blog! don’t worry, i will continue on with this blog as well. but my new blog is something a bit more serious, a little closer to my heart. i love this blog. i love posting about fashion and makeup and things like that. but there’s a whole nother side to me i haven’t talked about yet. i don’t think ive been ready to share it until now. so please, take a look!

chanel summer 2011
chanel just launched its new makeup collection for summer 2011. the color combinations are a little bit startling at first, but are unexpectedly beautiful. the eye shadow quad named lilium comes with two greens (one dark, one a sort of lime), a light pink, and a bronze/brown color. i would have never chosen to put these colors together but they look absolutely stunning. the lime and the pink compliment each other well. then there’s the mimosa nail polish which is a shimmery bright pop of yellow. i also picked up the lip gloss in aurore to put on over the new rouge coco shine lipstick in boy (the lip look worn on the model in the advert). the collection also includes two bronzing powders, one rosey and one a coral, an eye shadow duo with shades of green, two other pinky/coral lip glosses, and two other nail polishes, one beige and one bright pink. all in all a beautiful, fresh, juicy summer look!

you all know how much i love sigrid agren. she is my favorite model. not only is she gorgeous with her blond hair, freckles, and delicate features, but she is intelligent as well. her french accent is tres chic! i also feel a sort of connection to her because of the reserved, shy way she comes across.
